QUEM SOMOS

A Federação Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda é uma entidade sem fins lucrativos, pessoa colectiva de direito privado, com valores profissionais, sociais e culturais.

A Federação Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda foi fundada em Outubro de 2006 durante a Convenção Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda, que se realizou na Universidade Lusófona nos dias 21 e 22 de Outubro.

A Convenção Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda foi organizada e patrocinada pela Associação Luso Brasileira de Ayurveda (ALBA), entidade que arcou com os gastos da fundação da Federação.

A Convenção contou com a participação da Federação Internacional de Yoga e de outras entidades que fazem parte dos corpos fundadores da Federação.

Estiveram presentes durante a Convenção Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda, a apresentar trabalhos práticos e conferências, diversas personalidades nacionais e internacionais* (ver lista de participantes abaixo).

 

A Federação Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda tem os seus corpos sociais formados por membros das Associações que a fundaram ou que se filiarem posteriormente.

A Federação Europeia de Yoga, Yogaterapia e Ayurveda tem como objectivos principais:

– Promover o desenvolvimento científico e prático das Associações Europeias relacionadas com o ensino e a prática de Yoga, Yoga Therapy e Ayurveda;

– Supervisionar o papel social, a dignidade e o prestígio das Associações, promovendo a sua valorização científica e prática, a sua defesa e o respeito pelos princípios éticos que orientarão a sua actividade;

– Contribuir para a defesa e promoção das Associações de Yoga, Terapia de Yoga e Ayurveda, bem como a necessidade de ter em conta os projectos legais que visam a prossecução dos seus fins institucionais, a nível nacional e europeu;

– Promover o intercâmbio de ideias e experiências entre as Associações de Yoga, Terapia de Yoga e Ayurveda e suas organizações nacionais e estrangeiras, bem como as ações de coordenação interdisciplinar, tanto no nível de treinamento como de pesquisa;

– Promover convenções e congressos nacionais e internacionais como forma de possibilitar uma valorização e troca de conhecimento entre todos os interessados;

– Colaborar, patrocinar e promover a edição de publicações que difundam os conhecimentos de Yoga, Yoga Therapy e Ayurveda;

– Proteger os interesses, direitos e prerrogativas dos seus federados.

– Credenciar cursos, profissionais e professores nas áreas do seu domínio de registo (Yoga, da Ayurveda, da Yogaterapia) e nas áreas das Disciplinas Associadas.
